First, you will need a high speed internet hookup. Using less than DSL or a Cable Modem is not recommended. In fact, because you need to have your computer on for extended periods of time when trading forex with La Dulce Vida EA, you might want to consider our VPN service which is dirt cheap, secure and will take a load off your computer. Also, you can go anywhere in the world and access our VPN from any computer if you wish. It has a user name and password in order to gain access. That is how I trade my two live accounts.
Second, you must have a forex broker that offers different types of accounts like mini and/or standard accounts with at least 200 to 1 (200:1) margin account. Now, if you have $8,000 to $10,000 as forex risk capital at 200:1 margin, you will need to only trade with starting lot size of .01 mini. And, for +$10,000 and above, .01 standard lot. I have started one of my live accounts with $7,500 using .01 starting lot size and I have survived ok with my settings, specific currency pairs and very careful hours of trading. The more forex risk capital you have, the better margin of safety. The ideal risk capital is $25,000 and you should be able to generate easily about +$5,000 per month and pull that full amount out each month to start over again. That is how I manage my standard account. If you have less than $5,000 then you will need a micro account at say IBFX. That means lot sizes of .001 which should work as well.
Finally, you will need to watch your broker spread cost when trading with La Dulce Vida EA. We are a referring agent for Trader's ChoiceFX and you can open a forex live account through us. 4xWINs 12th-Year Anniversary - March 1, 2009
For the past year, I have been tinkering with an EA I have named La Dulce Vida (The Sweet Life) with settings and applications as phase one. I just finished the second phase of the La Dulce Vida EA by setting up the web page this past week with two demo accounts running 24/5 on our VPN server so all of you and the select public can monitor the results. This is being coordinated with my March 1, 2009 12th year anniversary. Sometimes, I get confused how many years I've been around as an internet business. The years just seem to roll by quite fast.
THREE LA DULCE VIDA DEMO ACCOUNTS
If you take a look at the three LDV demo accounts (regular mode, reverse mode, hybrid mode) being presented, there are at least three modes the I hve used within two La Dulce Vida (LDV) live accounts that I personally trade daily. Those two LDV live accounts have generated as of this writing at least +$12,000 (as of 02/15/09 in less than a month!) and both of the live accounts HAVE NOT been on auto-trading overnight. I have been running the two accounts during daylight EST work day hours and to make sure my settings were safe to use to generate a target two to three fold account increase per year. So far, the two live LDV accounts have been running flawlessly with the occasional short lived deep account draw downs which the EA is programmed to handle and capitalize on. For the most part, it is not difficult to know ahead of time which of the 16 different currency pairs being traded on any given day which may experience those draw downs because of increased volatility. So, you do have a choice to turn them off, leave them on and/or watch the trading account, and after you have experience with the EA functions and dynamics, just let it do the work for you. Bear this in mind, every currency pair that I have watched from the start to the end of the draw downs period of time have all turned out to be the most profitable LDV trades that really kicked up the % rate of returns.

We have been running La Dulce Vida EA on our VPN using several demo accounts using the different mode (profile) settings. If will need to be connected to the internet to notice the most recent MT4 statement file displayed. If you have a slow internet connection, it may take longer to display. Scroll down the actual trades documented and the profit loss bottom line when it appears. Please be aware that at the time of this writing, our demo account suffered one draw down loss because we were too aggressive in our setting. We decided at first to leave that draw down in place, tweak the settings, and continue with the trading in that demo account to see how long it takes to overcome that loss and make a new profit high. The other demo settings have NOT had a single draw down loss so far and we don't expect to have one since finding the sweet spot settings.
